I don't know what it is, but you could e-mail this picture to your local cooperative extension chapter, and they could help you. You could also take it or a picture to your local garden center. The owner of the garden center I go to is very knowledgeable and has helped me on several occasions.
Sorry but i do not know this plant either and I agree with Judy that many garden centers (ACE Hardware is my favorite) have very knowledgeable people who might recognize your plant (larger stores with garden centers may not be as knowledgeable) and my local garden extension agent helps me sometimes.
