When a sore throat is beginning to develop, pull out the cola! Just gargle with any type of a cola (Dr. Pepper, Coke, Pepsi, favorite store brands of cola). Gargle and "spit" until the cola return looks like cola with no mucus. Do this as often as necessary! Sounds gross, but it works!

Coca Cola is great on corroded battery terminals in your car. The caustic acid eats the corrosion quite well. And if your windshield is oily from driving in rainy weather? Coke works great!

To take stains out of clothing, use a 12 oz can of Coke-Cola Classic. Put some on stain, then rest in the wash water along with your detergent. Use COLD water only. If all of stain doesn't come out, BEFORE drying, while stiil WET use some toothpaste (I used cheap from Dollar store) on stain. Rub into material with either fingernail or a toothbrush, checking to see if all of stain is gone, then wash as usual. Then dry.

If your car battery terminals are corroded, get that can of Coke and gently pour over the corroded terminals to get rid of the corrosion.

For rusty spots on a chrome car bumper, dip a ball of aluminum foil in Coke and rub the bumper with it.

I use Coca-Cola to clear clogged drains. Just pour a 2 liter bottle slowly down the drain. Follow with boiling water 1/2 hour later. You can also use generic cola.

Flat Coca Cola is suppose to be good if you have been sick a lot, especially good for kids, not too much just small sips, I think it works with Lemonade as well but it must be flat.
