I use Coca-Cola to clear clogged drains. Just pour a 2 liter bottle slowly down the drain. Follow with boiling water 1/2 hour later. You can also use generic cola.

I am guessing this is a good thing to know in a pinch, although I wonder if it is cheaper than actual acidic products made for cleaning, like CLR or Sparkle? Or even just vinegar?
