Questions
Here are questions related to Lipton Onion Soup Mix Recipes (Copycat).
There are so many recipes with onion soup mix in them but I am allergic to MSG, which it contains. Does anyone know of an alternative to onion soup mix? Thanks.
Thank you Karen. I had found one bouillon granular but now it seems to have disappered from my stores shelf. I know they do exist so I'll keep trying. I had found an alternative onion mix at a bulk food store but it was very salty. I'll try this. Thanks again.

Onion Soup Mix (Copycat)
When you prepare meatloaf, pot roast, beef stew, etc., why buy those little packets of onion soup when you probably have all these ingredients in your kitchen already?
Ingredients:
1/3 cup beef bouillon
3/4 cup minced onion
4 tsp. onion powder
1/4 tsp. crushed celery seed
1/4 tsp. sugar
Directions:
Mix together all of the ingredients and store in an airtight container. Five tablespoons of this mix is equal to one (1.25-oz) package.
