Use Less Fabric Softener

When using fabric softener in the wash, I use a fraction of the amount suggested on the packaging and add water to make up the difference. The wash comes out just as soft and nicely scented. - Kelly

Some people also use more fabric softener than recommended so their clothes will have more of the fabric softener smell for a longer length of time.
