What is the best and easiest budget software to use? I am looking for something very simple and easy.

If you already know how to use Excel, you can download excel templates from several websites. That's what we use instead of buying a whole new program. It's good because you can customize them to fit your family's expenses. If you don't see everything you want in the spreadsheet, you can add what you need.

If you are looking for how to create a budget, like monthly percentages and stuff, your local library probably has lots of good books about personal finance.

If you mean "Budgeting" software, try AceMoney Lite--It's freeware and it works great for managing your finances, making yearly budgets, etc. Much better than paying tons of money for Quicken or other such programs, especially if you are like me; a poor college student. I have to really stretch my money, so I don't want to pay for ANY software, really. Go to www.download.com and search for "AceMoney Lite".

PS--If you want to download budget-priced software of ANY sort, try www.download.com, or www.pcworld.com. Try to stay away from most sites that you randomly come across; they tend to bundle lots of undesirable extras such as spyware, adware, or even viruses, even bundling malware with legitimate applications that would be otherwise safe to procure. Above all, don't "Google" it--if you do, you will probably pick up some bad stuff, especially if you have a Windows computer.

Check out www.PlanetCDRom.com; they have lots of programs for free. You do have to pay for shipping but the more you buy the less you pay per program. I have gotten several programs from them and have never been disappointed. Some of the categories of programs that they have are Business, Reference, Games, Education, Home/Life, Kids, etc. They even have movies and music at a discount price.
