I got this receipe from the internet:

Krispy Kreme Inspired Baked Doughnuts

1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup buttermilk
3 eggs
1 tablespoon honey

1/2 cup butter, melted

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet, or doughnut baking pan.

In a medium bowl, mix sugar, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, cloves, cinnamon and flour. Mix buttermilk, eggs, honey, and butter in a separate medium bowl, and stir into the dry ingredients. Then spoon the mixture onto the prepared pan in doughnut shapes.

Bake the doughnuts for 12 minutes in the preheated oven, until golden brown.

You can sprinkle confectioners sugar on top of the doughnuts while they're warm or you can make your own glaze to dip them in. I had to have glazed doughnuts, so I boiled 1 cup of water and mixed in three cups of powdered sugar to make sure I'd have enough.

I was in the mood for doughnuts, and living in Hawaii I cannot get them except for the grocery store kind. So my brother found this recipe, and we thought we would try it.

These are not what I had in mind at all as far as Krispy Kreme doughnuts go. They do taste ok, but they are not doughnuts. Thanks for the recipe anyway.

Wow, I think I will try your doughnut recipe but with brown sugar and whole wheat flour, it's healthier I think. Thanks!
