Problems Growing a Crown of Thorns

My crown of thorns plant is in the ground with full sun. In the past few days at least one fourth of the leaves have turned yellow with black spots.
Can you say why or what happened?

I have a Crown Of Thorns plant, the leaves are turning yellow, and falling off. I am watering it about once a week and it is in the west window and gets midmorning and afternoon sun.
