I can't have petunias because it's always so cold here! We have frost every month of the year. I guess I could bring them every evening but I don't have a place to put hanging baskets inside and frankly don't want the bother. I just want to MOVE!!!

The petunias are from last year. I love them also. Why can't you have petunias? Good luck.

Thank you, that was just the shot of spring I was craving. Do you suppose the North has always relied on the South this time of year? --Kim in WA

Do you have petunias already or were these from last year? I can't have petunias at all and miss them most of all the flowers I can't have.

Garden: Petunias

Purple Petunia Against Brick BackgroundThis lone petunia just keeps on going. It came up in a pot I have on my potting bench and it is amazing. A spindly plant, but the flowers are are so beautiful. And as you can see as they get older they change their color tone. I have never done a thing except water it once in awhile and get rewarded for neglect. I have tried to plant the seeds, but so far they do not grow.

Anyone have an idea why?
