Lemon and Green Onion Basmati Rice

An easy perfect accompaniment for any type of white fish ;-)


  • 1 cup Basmati rice, rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups water
  • Ad
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • salt to taste
  • 1 Tbsp. butter, room temp
  • 1 lemon, juiced


Heat water in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in rice, green onions and salt; bring to a boil. Stir in the butter, reduce heat to low, cover the pan and simmer for 15 minutes.

Stir in the lemon juice, cover, place off the heat for 10 minutes to finish steaming and serve.
