Lemon Delight Dessert


  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup butter or margarine melted
  • 1 package of cream cheese (8 ounces)
  • Ad
  • 3 3/4 cups of confectioners sugar
  • 1 carton of thawed whipped topping (16 ounces)
  • 1 can of lemon pie filling (15 3/4 ounces)


In a small bowl, combine the flour, pecans and salt. Stir in butter or margarine. Press into an ungreased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Then cool on a wire rack.

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over the crust and then top with pie filling. Store in the refrigerator.

Very easy recipe and very tasty for lemon lovers.

What size of package of cream cheese and what can a person substitute for cream cheese. My hubby is allergic to all nuts. Thank you, Donna

I'm sorry I forgot this information in the recipe. The size of the cream cheese is (8 ounces). Substitute for pecan try coconut it might work.
