I have an Electrolux I bouight at a garage sale and I'll bet its 30 years old. It still has awesome power and sucks up everything.

I have an old Dirt Devil and it works great. I've probably had it for about 16 years.

I don't have an answer to what is best but stay away from the Oreck. I bought one online and it's junk. I paid 39.
