Cheesecake Squares

It is quick, easy and delicious! Everyone who has tried these has asked for the recipe!

Ingredients:

• 2 packages crescent rolls (I use reduced fat)

• 2 8 oz. packages of cream cheese (also use reduced fat if you like)
• 2 eggs, separated
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• Pie filling of choice, optional

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spread one package of rolls in bottom of 13x9x2 inch pan.

In medium bowl mix cream cheese, egg yolks, sugar and vanilla until light and creamy (about 4 minutes).

Spread mixture over rolls in pan and top with the other package of rolls. Brush top with egg whites.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until top is golden brown. If desired, top with pie filling when almost done baking (last 5 minutes or so).
