Italian Sausage and Noodles

Great tasting, cheap, and everyone loves it!


  • 1/4 to 1/2 lb. kielbasa, cubed (or other hot dogs or sausage. You may use bulk sausage in this recipe, but it should be browned before adding)
  • Ad
  • 8 oz. elbow macaroni or spaghetti
  • 1/2 jar pasta sauce
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated mozzarella cheese


Prepare macaroni according to package directions. Cut up sausage while macaroni is cooking. Turn drained macaroni into casserole dish. Add sausage, pasta sauce, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the top.

Bake covered in 350 degree F oven for 20 minutes or until the mozzarella is melted and bubbly. Serve with garlic bread and salad to round out the meal.

I keep a "recipe journal" for each of my children, and this one will go into my daughter-in-law's journal. She isn't the cook in the family, but my son is. He cooks to suit her, so she has to have her own "journal". She likes any kind of pasta, cheese, Italian Sausage dishes and double-fudge brownies. She is our "child" and a very fussy eater who will really appreciate your recipe.
