Heat the oil in a wok or solid based frying pan and fry the onion for 3-4 minutes. Stir in the cubed potatoes; cover and cook to 3-4 minutes. Add the okra, and stir fry for 2 minutes. Sprinkle with salt, turmeric, chili, and ground coriander. Mix gently; cover and cook for 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally and continue cooking until potatoes are tender. Sprinkle with the chopped coriander leaves. Mix well and serve.
