Maple Syrup Cake
Ingredients
1/2 cups sugar
2 1/4 cups flour
1 cup maple syrup
1/2 cup milk (hot)
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
2/3 tsp. soda
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Cream butter and add sugar. Beat eggs without separating and add to butter mixture. Stir in maple syrup. Sift flour, baking powder and soda and add to mixture, alternately with hot milk. Bake in angel food cake tin, cover with maple icing.
