Peroxide and Baking Soda for Finding Pet Stains

If your cat or dog pees on the floor or shelf, take some peroxide and baking soda. Mix it and spray it on the spot where they pee and it will turn white. That's where they peed.

Be careful about using the peroxide on carpet. Do a small test where it won't show in case it discolors. Wait about an hour or more to make sure it will be okay because sometimes peroxide takes a bit of time for possible lightening effects.

I have also read that a black light will work, although I have not had to try it so unsure how well this may work.

How much peroxide and baking soda do you use? Thanks in advance.
