Chakita is 10 weeks old and is an Akita/Chow mix. I got her for my birthday. She likes to play ball and do tricks for cookies. She is very smart.

What a darling little doggy!! I've never had one of those kinds of dogs, but they sure are cute and look fun to have around!

Your puppy is so cute! We have a chow/lab mix that we adopted from a shelter when Toby was a year old. The chow part makes for a rather stubborn, sometimes aloof dog. Toby is very sweet and good natured, but he has a mind of his own. We have had him for almost 4 years and he has learned a lot in that time, but still runs away when he gets loose. Good advice about obedience school. Do it.

What a cutie! Just remember that an Akita/Chow mix will most definately need obedience school! Best of luck and enjoy her!
