Shop at Grocery Stores after Thanksgiving and Christmas

Remember to shop at grocery stores after the holidays. They will sell the seasonal foods for cheap. -- breads, cakes, cookies, meats, etc. (and of course seasonal candy.)

I go to the grocery stores the morning after Thanksgiving when everyone else is at the mall and get entire Thanksgiving Dinners for around $6-$8. We are always out of town at relatives for Thanksgiving and NEVER have leftovers, so this is a blessing for us. We eat on it all weekend and I usually will buy an extra dinner and put it in the freezer for Christmas!
