Use leftover pieces of wallpaper or pages from a wallpaper book to make book covers. Many of these book covers are even tear-resistant.

At our school we used to use wallpaper as covers for booklets that the teachers made for the kids for hand out sheets. It was tough and did not tear and rip the way construction paper or manilla tag paper did. Also, we used paper from donated wallpaper sample books, and so it was much cheaper.
