I finished crocheting a poncho and am in the middle of attaching fringe to the bottom. My problem is that it does not hang flat, but ruffles all around the bottom and looks goofy. Any advice?

When attaching the fringe, be sure not to pull it too tight as you attach or it will not lie flat. Hope this helps.

You will have to lie the poncho flat after finishing and put something heavy on the fringe for a few days. This usually works well for me. Good luck.
