Marinated Chuck Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 chuck steak, 1-2 1/2 lbs., 1 1/2 in. thick
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. dry mustard
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. horseradish
  • 2 tsp. hot pepper sauce
  • unseasoned meat tenderizer

Directions

Trim chuck steak. Sprinkle steak with meat tenderizer. Add to marinade, turning to coat. Add to marinade, turning to coat. Let stand for 20 minutes, turning once. Broil steak to desired degree of doneness, brushing with marinade.
