Pour boiling water over the oatmeal and let stand at room temperature for 10 minutes. Add the brown sugar, white sugar and margarine. Stir until the margarine melts. Add the eggs and mix well. Blend in dry ingredients and beat until well mixed. Stir in 6 oz. of chocolate chips. Pour batter into a greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle the nuts and remaining chocolate chips on top. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 30 minutes, or until done. Needs no frosting.
