Brutus is my 1 1/2 year old German Shepherd/Siberian Husky Mix.
Some people found Brutus last January abandoned in a park when he was about 7 weeks old. They came into the pet store where I was working to find an adoption agency for him as they couldn't keep him. I took him home with me that same night!
Brutus loves his tricky treat ball and playing with his rope toys. "Mom calls it fetch, I call it keep away." says Brutus. He loves children and and his stuffed animals and play dates with his buddy Bear.
Brutus is my first dog and my best friend. He's smart, protective yet loving and still a crazy puppy at times! My constant companion, we are even looking into pet friendly vacations so he can come with us!

Oh my god those eyes are so beautiful. I love huskies and brother likes German shepherds. Did you know Huskies are not from Alaska they are from Russia (Siberia).German shepherds are from Germany. Love huskies, love those eyes!

this is my german sheperd/ siberian husky hes alot bigger now this is win i first got him hes 6 months now and weighs 70 pounds big boy lol i remember when he could fit in my arms and was lite as a feather

thats funny i have a same breed but add boxer to the mix mine has blue as well and his name is Brutus

Your Brutus is beautiful!! I'm so glad you adopted him. I, too, took in a pup my son found in a car at about 7 weeks of age. And like you, I live in Saugerties, NY. Love him always and he'll stay your best friend.

In the past, we took in a dog someone found that was half husky and half shepherd, and about the same age as Brutus when you took him in. She was the best dog. I couldn't believe how lucky we were to have had her--she was the smartest dog, and she had a wonderful temperment too. I hope that he brings you as much joy as ours gave us. Your baby is beautiful.
