Chili Con Carne

Ingredients

• 4 lbs. hamburger
• 3 Tbsp. shortening
• 2 cups chopped onions
• 2 crushed garlic cloves
• 4 Tbsp. chili powder
• 1 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 1/2 tsp. paprika
• 1 tsp. ground cumin
• 1 tsp oregano
• 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
• 1/2 cup beef broth
• 1 28 oz can tomatoes
• 1 16 oz can tomatoes
• 4 1 pound cans red kidney beans.

Directions

Cook hamburger in shortening, drain, place into pot. Add remainder of ingredients and cook on low for 8 hours.
