Getting Pet Meds at a Regular Pharmacy

Always ask the vet if the medication being prescribed is available at a regular drugstore. If so, have her write the Rx for you. Vets charge a lot more for medications than do cut-rate pharmacies like Walmart or Costco.

If it is a regular medication such as Rymidal check the on line pharmacies. Our dog takes an anti depression pill which was 85 cents each at the pharmacy but is only 25 cents each at Allivet.

We always asked our vet to call our pets scripts into the
pharmacy, they were MUCH cheaper!

Vets are allowed to write Meds for pets, some of which can be filled at drugstores.
