Grow Your Own Sprouts

Make your own sprouts with lentils (which are very cheap) or raw shelled sunflower seeds in 3 days. Put 1/4 cup of them in a jar and rubber-band a scrap of nylon net onto the top of the jar. Add water to cover. The next day you will drain them and rinse with fresh water. Keep them in a dark place or covered with a towel, because they grow better in the dark. After 3 days they will be ready to use in salads or stir fry.

I love all kinds of sprouts. They are delicious on sandwiches instead of using a lettuce and so much more nutritious.
Thanks for the instructions. I'll try them.
