Jo's Cinnamon and Sour Cream Bundt Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 box golden butter cake (Duncan Hines)
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 8 oz. sour cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 stick butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • Ad
  • 2 combinations of:
  • 1/2 Tbsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar

Directions

Beat main ingredients except 2 combinations of cinnamon and sugar for 5 minutes. Pour 1/2 of batter into Bundt pan. Swirl first combination in. Pour second half of batter in, and repeat the swirl with last combination. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-50 minutes. Test for doneness with toothpick.

This is extremely similar to the recipe found on the side of the Duncan Hines cake mix box...it is called a Sock-It-To-Me cake....is fantastic with a powdered sugar/milk glaze poured over it. My mom's been making this for us for many years as it has always been dad's favorite!
