When I make meatballs I usually make large batch and freeze some for a quick meal later.
3 or 4 lbs hamburger
1 1/2 oatmeal or dry bread crumbs
1/2 to 3/4 c. finely chopped onions
no salt added (no salt for me)
red peper flakes to taste
1 to 2 c. V8 or tomatoe juice -enough to hold the mixture together.

Mix well, form meatballs, put on a cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 to 375
15 to 30 min - depending on the size of the meatballs.
Use what you want in your sauce and the extras,
when cool put on a clean cookie sheet - freeze
When frozen put in freezer bags and use when you need them.
