Make a tag form or use a ready-made tag in ivory color. Cut a small piece of paper that is either old or looks old the size of the tag, minus 1/8 inch all the way around. Find another paper that is complimentary and do the same over that piece. Try to work with earth tones or monochromatic themes.

If you are a stamper, stamp a nostalgic design over the paper overlapping beyond the entire tag (bleed).

Glue on embellishments, such as jewels, buttons, fibers, etc. Attach a flower or other 3D decoration, and finally, put ribbon into the tag hole that matches your theme.

Put the tag into a poly bag for a professional and finished look.
