I use a mushroom slicer to cut my boiled eggs with, when making potato salad, tuna salad, or just lettuce salads. Put the egg on the slicer base and bring the slicer wires down over and thru the egg, in one slick move, then cup your hand over the sliced egg, holding it together, turn it the other way, and repeat with slicer. That's all you have to do, and then rake it in your salad bowl! So much easier than anything else I've tried!
