Asking About Leftover Restaurant Meats |
If you live in a community around some restaurants, you might want to check with them for any leftover meats or other foods they might have leftover that they might not want to reheat and sell the next day. I have relatives in the vicinity of a BBQ restaurant that sells various fresh meats in a variety of ways (ex. whole bbq chickens or by the piece, bbq ribs: by the 1/2 rack or whole rack, etc.)
The restaurant will call up residents in the area, who are interested in buying fresh cooked meats at discounted prices. You might like to put your name on some restaurants lists like my relatives are. Both parties are being helped out. The restaurant doesn't have any fresh cooked meats going to waste and made some money off the meat and the residents in that area, including my relatives are saving some money, some time, and enjoying fresh bbq'd foods.
