Grandma's Tomato Pickles

Ingredients

  • 18 lb. sliced green tomatoes
  • salt
  • 5 lbs. sugar
  • 1 qt. vinegar
  • 1 oz. cloves
  • 2 oz. cinnamon
  • sliced onions

Directions

Salt slices green tomatoes and let stand overnight. Drain. Add rest of ingredients. Boil 15-20 minutes. Put in hot jars and seal.
