There are many places that offer free address labels but you end up paying big $$$ for shipping.

I've found the best thing to do is to go to an office supply store and make my own. Go to www.avery.com/templates and you can get free templates there.

If you have "Job Fairs", "Merchant Fairs" Or County and Stae Fairs, the address labels are great to stick on the Sweepstake entries instead of writing each individual one out! A great time saver and easier on the writing hand as well

I use addresss labels to label all sorts of things - eye glass cases, notebooks, instruments and instrument cases, books...anything that has to be identified....

To mairmie. When we go somewhere like to a pot luck or on trips we use our free address labels for our utensils, pots, containers, and other stuff to make sure we don't lose anything or to make sure we get it back. Hope this helps.

I`ve donated to several charities over the years and found I had far too many address labels.I always have a few in my handbag just in case I need them and I do use them on "snail mail".Can anyone suggest other uses for them? I`ve written the various charities asking they not send me more labels .They do send small notepads as well which are very useful.

You might try www.FreeAddressLabels.com. They ask some basic information and match you to a sponsoring local business.

Request:

I wonder how do you get on a mailing list to receive free address labels.

Robin

Answers:

I think that once you make a contribution to any charity you end up being on all the mailing lists. That's how I get all my free address labels. The good thing about it is the fact that, although you can use the labels, you have no obligation to ever make a contribution to the organization.
