8 pounds rhubarb, washed/cut in small pieces 8 quarts boiling water 6 pounds sugar 2 15 oz packages raisins 4 lemons sliced 4 oranges sliced 2 yeast cakes
put rhubarb in large crock/container, and pour boiling water over it. cover and let stand 1 week. stir daily. strain the liquid, and add all other ingredients. stir well and let stand covered in a cool place until fermentation(bubbling) stops, about 4 weeks.( can use the same container, or a jug with a fermentation lock) strain the liquid, bottle, store in cool place. enjoy.
