Place pecans into a bowl, melt butter and pour over them. Stir to coat nuts. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes stirring every 5 minutes. Remove from oven and salt lightly (optional). Turn out on platter to cool. **I would recommend real butter for this one. Warning! They are addictive!
