Last time I had it, it tasted like it came out of a can. May I suggest you go to the store and buy a few different varieties of cans of the best chili on the shelves. Add some sauteed onion and carrots and shredded cheese and see if that comes pretty close to the taste.

I miss TSR! That site used to have several message boards it was
great fun. Untill ppl started fighting and there was no end so Todd deleted the boards. But Todd has great recipes.

The site below does copycat recipes. This week's featured recipe just happens to be the Red Robin Chili recipe.
Most week's featured recipes are free but this week's is not ... it costs 79 cents. So it must be pretty authentic. Most of Todd's are.
