My grandchildren love to put cinnamon sugar on their toast. So they can easily make it themselves and there is less mess, I keep a salt shaker filled with the mixture by the toaster. I usually mix together 1 Tbsp. cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar.

This is a great idea, and it would be good for diabetics, too, if you substituted Splenda Granulated in the bag, as the measure is equal amounts for sugar measurements. Substitute 1/2 cup of Splenda Granulated. And, up that cinnamon to 2 Tbsp!
Cinnamon is very good for diabetes, just 1 tsp. a day can help control your blood sugar, and it's so easy to add to fruit and yogurt, etc.
