1 can cherry pie filling
1 white/yellow cake mix
1 stick butter/margerine
1-2 eggs
mix the pie filling and eggs with the cake mix. put in 12x6 or 11x13 greased pan.
cut the butter/margerine into small pieces which you scatter over top of the cake OR melt butter/margerine in microwave, and pour evenly over top of cake.
bake 30 - 35 minutes at 350 degrees. cake is done when light brown on top, and toothpick comes out clean.
not low calorie/fat, but good. you can use any flavor pie filling or canned fruit you like. if using canned fruit, use the juice/syrup from the can as your liquid and skip the eggs.

The marshmallows all melted into the middle, which never set up, even after baking longer. The cherries went to the bottom, which is OK , if the cake itself was edible. Did you leave out any instructions? Do you just add the powder Jello to the Pie Filling or do you make the Jello according to directions on the box, then add it to the pie filling?
