Making Rice Pudding With Leftover Rice

I have 2 cups of cooked rice left. I want to fix rice pudding. How much milk and sugar should I add to it? How long should I let it cook?

Thanks.

Mix 1 cup cooked rice & 2 cups milk. Heat to scalding (not quite boiling). Beat 2 egg yolks w/ 1/2 cup sugar & 1/2 t vanilla until light yellow. Slowly add to the rice/milk (too fast will cook the eggs). Cook until thickened. Add raisins and/or fruit if desired.

When I have left over rice I just make a box of vanilla instant pudding and put the rice with some cinnamon in it. Top it with some cool whip. Yummm.
