Washer Only Starts Spin Cycle if Drum is Manually Turned
My washer agitates, but when it comes to the spin cycle it is temperamental. It will go ahead and spin if I wiggle the drum just right, but it takes several tries. It seems like there is a short, or something not connecting. Any ideas?

It could be possible that the machine is not placed on perfectly flat flooring. so the clothes inside do not distribute themselves evenly during the spin. So possibly checking for any inclines might solve the problem.
