Chili Sour Cream Dip

Someone was asking about a chile dip - this is a family favorite. A Mexican (not authentic) dip that my family likes, not the one requested, but easy to make. Also addictive. Don't say I didn't warn you!

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces sour cream
  • 4 to 8 ounces diced chilies (depends on how hot you like it)
  • a sprinkling of salt
  • tortilla chips: Nacho style Doritos brand (preferred)

Directions

Stir all ingredients together except for the chips, cover and let it set in the fridge a couple of hours to merge flavors.

Serve the dip with the chips and try not to eat the whole thing yourself. Keeps well until the next day but will probably have a lot of chip crumbs in it.
