Simply Good Biscuits

Makes 10 drop biscuits.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup of self rising flour (sifted)
  • 1 small container of whipping cream

Directions

Pre-heat oven 400 F.(may vary)

Sift 1 cup of flour. Gradually add whipping cream as you stir mixture with fork. Dough will become very sticky. Sprinkle 1/2 of remaining flour over dough and hand should be dusted with flour. Knead dough for less than 1 minute. It should be very soft. Use a spoon to drop dough on dusted pan. Make a thumb print on each drop.

Bake at 350 degrees F until brown or about 20 minutes. Butter and enjoy soft homemade biscuits.

Source: I got this recipe from my pastor, Gail N. We sip on hot clove tea while enjoying these biscuits.
