Generally a Jacuzzi only needs to be thoroughly cleaned twice a year. I don't have one anymore but when I did I would completely drain it every Spring and Fall and get inside with a soft plastic scrubber and a little liguid jacuzzi cleanser to remove any possible skin oils that had built up on the walls. I probably didn't really need to do that because I kept the proper amount of chemicals in the water at all times but it made me feel better knowing it was clean and filled with fresh water after Summer and after Winter ;-)

Hope this helps :-)

RE: Cleaning a Jacuzzi

There's a site called Spa Depot. They have anything and everything to start up, maintain, clean, or anything else you need for a hot tub. Plus, they only charge a flat $2.95 for shipping any size order. I highly recommend them. (12/13/2006)
