$10 Mushroom Gravy Meal

Patties and Gravy

  • 2 lbs. Ground Beef $2.59 x 2 = $5.18
  • 2 Packets Mushroom Gravy Mix .33 each x 2 = $.66
  • 2 Cans Cream of Mushroom Soup 1.09x2 = $2.18
  • 2 Cups of Water = Free

Make Ground Beef into hamburger patties and cook. Mix Mushroom Gravy mix, soup and water in bowl with wire wisk. Pour over cooked Hamburger patties and simmer until heated through and slightly thickened into gravy.

White Rice

  • 2 cups = .89
Cook Rice according to package instructions

Green Peas

  • 1 lb Frozen Green Peas = $.99
Cook according to instructions.

Serve Gravy and Patties over white rice, with peas on the side.

Very funny Judith. LOL. We do have a well, so our water was free, but at one time we lived in the city & had to pay for the water, so I know all about EXPENSIVE water. :) Take Care, Farrah

This was delicious. Very easy and cheap. I just added a little garlic powder and seasoning salt.

Hey Farrah,
I work for a water plant and there is no way those two cups of water are FREE, unless you have a well. Did you know that we only drink 5% of all water used for a household? Sincerely, Judith

we have been making these patties for years only we called our recipe salsbury steak and nstead of rice made mashed potatoes
