Reusing Parmesan Cheese Rinds

Don't throw away those old rinds from buying big chunks of Parmesan cheese. Throw them in soups such as minestrone and let simmer for extra good flavor.

Editor's Note: I haven't bought Parmesan cheese in quantity for a long time. I've never heard this before and have no idea whether it would work or not. Feedback on this as always would be appreciated.

I freeze my rinds & when I make my home-made Italian sauce I toss the rinds in, gives it a great flavor. I will have to try it when I make soup, never thought of that, thanks!!
