Bar Bee Cups

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hamburger
  • 1/2-1 cup barbecue sauce, your choice
  • 1 cup grated Colby cheese
  • 1 Pillsbury biscuit roll or your own biscuit dough

Directions

Cook hamburger in skillet. Add barbecue sauce; season to taste with salt and pepper. In muffin pan, spread out biscuit dough in muffin spaces; spoon in hamburger mixture and top each with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10-15 minutes.

Mmm, my mom used to make these for me! Sometimes she would press two biscuit dough rounds together and use jumbo muffin tins for even larger bar bee cups. A yummy variation is to substitute taco seasoning and red enchilada sauce for the barbecue sauce for a taco variation.
