In a crock pot, combine ingredients and set to low heat. Cover and let cook for 8-9 hours. (I live in high altitude, and between 6-7 hours was sufficient cooking time.) Stir and remove to serving bowls. This method works best if started before you go to bed. This way your oatmeal will be finished by morning.

Ingredients
1 cup vegetable oil
1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
4 large eggs
6 cups quick cooking oats
1 Tbsp + 1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
2 cups milk
2 chopped, peeled or unpeeled apples, opt.
1 cup raisins, opt.
Directions
Mix oil, sugar, eggs with electric mixer until yellow and glossy. Add remaining ingredients and beat on medium speed until blended. Blend in optional ingredients if desired. Pour into a greased 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 400 degrees F for 30-40 minutes. Cut into serving pieces. Serve with brown sugar, milk, chopped dates or pecans.
