No-Bake Brownies

Ingredients

  • 1 cup nuts, chopped
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 3 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 package semi-sweet chocolate chips (12 oz.)
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • mint extract, or any flavoring you like (If you use vanilla, use 1 tsp.)

Directions

In a large bowl, mix together first four ingredients. Melt chocolate chips in the milk, in a saucepan over low heat, stirring until thick and smooth. Remove from heat; add flavoring. Reserve 1/2 cup of chocolate mixture for frosting; add remainder to crumb mixture. Stir until all crumbs are moistened. Turn into 8 inch square pan and press down firmly in pan. Spread the reserved chocolate over top. Chill until ready to cut. Garnish each piece with a nut half, if desired. Makes 32 brownies.
