- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs or cracker crumbs
- 2 packages. frozen chopped spinach, thawed & drained
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 Tbsp. dry onion soup mix
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. In small skillet; melt butter over medium heat. Add crumbs. Cook and stir until lightly browned; set aside. In medium bowl, combine spinach, 1 cup of the cheese, sour cream and soup mix. Pour into greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup cheese; top with browned crumbs. Bake 45 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned and bubbly.
